Negotiator, valuer, general manager, area director, developer, business owner – while Christian has worn many hats over the years, one thing remains the same: his love for the property industry and his unrelenting drive to find solutions for both vendor and buyer alike. Having worked for large traditional high street brands, Christian’s remit has expanded on both sides of the Atlantic, managing teams as large as 400 and residential sales exceeding £1 Billion.
Having witnessed a great deal of both good and bad property development, Christian knew that there was something better and so he developed West11 Properties & Design, initially focusing on one property at a time and expanding to Malaysian, South African and New York funds as well as constructing 10 to 15 properties per year. Nine years on and West11 has built over 70 units, transacted on 100+ property deals and established a full development, design and business arm.
Having worked at, owned and sold property agencies, Christian has seen the evolution of the industry and how technology has changed the way people buy and sell houses. While every photo, floorplan and EPC is available online, the industry legacy still requires agents to spend endless hours and weekends in the office, focusing on hours invested rather than the results achieved. And so the vision for the Draper Brokerage model was conceived.
